Traditional Physical Therapy sessions include 45-60 minute sessions weekly, biweekly, or monthly based on need and availability.
Comprehensive Evaluation: Thorough evaluations to assess your child’s movement patterns, strength, flexibility, balance, and functional abilities. Medical history, current condition, lifestyle, and preferences are used to create a customized approach that maximizes potential.
Expert Guidance and Individualized Care: Sessions guided by an experienced pediatric physical therapist who develops tailored treatment plans to address your child’s specific needs, goals, and limitations.
Manual Therapy Techniques: Hands-on manual therapy, joint mobilization, and/or soft tissue manipulation. These interventions can help reduce pain, improve range of motion, and improve movement patterns.
Therapeutic Exercise: Targeted exercises and therapeutic activities to address specific impairments and promote functional and improve independence with mobility.
Education and Empowerment: Home exercise program prescribed in order to maintain functional gains. Education on strategies to empower you to take an active role in your child’s therapy journey.
Progress Tracking: At each session, progress is monitored, treatment plans adjusted as needed, and ongoing assessment ensures that your child makes meaningful improvements and staying on track.
Holistic Approach: We take a holistic approach to health and wellness, addressing not only physical impairments but also considering psychological, social, and environmental factors that may impact your child’s development.
Intensive Physical Therapy sessions are 1-2 (50-60 minute) sessions per day, 5 days, for 1-3 weeks at a time. Some key advantages:

Virtual Developmental Milestone Wellness Visit offers a comprehensive 30-45 minute screening to assess your child's current abilities and ensure they are reaching their developmental milestones.
Interactive Screening: Through observation and engaging play activities, we will assess your child's abilities and identify any areas of concern or potential delays. Our goal is to provide you with peace of mind and valuable insights into your child's development.
Guidance and Support: If your child is meeting their milestones, we'll offer guidance and support to continue fostering their growth at home. If we identify any red flags or areas needing further evaluation, we'll discuss our findings with you and provide recommendations for next steps.
Empowerment: With our Developmental Milestones Wellness Visit, you can take proactive steps to ensure your child's optimal development and well-being.
